Thank you, Advisory Board Members!

All of us say a special thanks to the 400 members of our School Advisory Boards who share our mission and vision for Catholic education in the Diocese of Bridgeport.

Together “we are stronger for their courage, we are wiser for their words.”

Welcome to The Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools

Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools have achieved academic excellence in a faith-based environment. 50% of our Catholic Schools have achieved the Blue Ribbon of National Recognition. Our students in grades 3-8 at our Blue Ribbon schools rank in the top 15% of schools in the country in reading and math. In our five diocesan Catholic high schools, average SAT scores in critical reading and writing are above state and national norms. In fact, the average percentage of our students scoring 600 or better in SAT Mathematics and Writing was higher then national norms. 99% of all our high school graduates continue on to post secondary education.

Our Catholic schools offer parents the greatest return on their investment in education – excellent academics and a solid moral foundation in values and respect. Come see us for yourself!

“From our perspective, Catholic school provides benefits that ensure a tremendous return on investment: rigorous academics, spirituality and faith woven into a nurturing learning environment and a community that looks after one another.  Can’t ask for more than that.”
