Overview

St. Mary is a Catholic, classical school serving students in preschool through eighth grade. The school is part of the Diocese of Bridgeport and is located in Ridgefield, CT. The integrated academic curriculum focuses on the formation of the whole child; spiritual, intellectual, social and physical. The ideal candidate is an energetic, joyful and organized instructor responsible for creating and planning art lessons that are fun, and engaging. Instilling an appreciation for beauty and having an ability to manage a classroom are preferable. Each class meets one day a week so this part time position could be taught over two days although, a more flexible schedule is possible. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and experience teaching art at the elementary level. Small class sizes, a close Catholic community and flexible working hours make this position appealing.
