Service Opportunities for Catholic Youth
In the Diocese of Bridgeport, schools strive to be authentically Catholic by keeping Christ as the central focus in the daily lives of its students. By strengthening the faith development of students, their families, and the school staff, they creating communities of people who actively live out the Gospel values in their daily interactions.
Our schools offer Religious Studies programs and Catholic Youth Service Corps to promote an awareness and understanding of the Christian message in a contemporary society. The teaching mission includes inviting young people to a relationship with Jesus Christ or deepening an existing relationship with Jesus, inserting young people into the life of the Church, and assisting young people to see and understand the role of faith in one’s daily life and in the larger society.
