Saint Catherine Academy is a state-approved special education program in the Diocese of Bridgeport serving young people with disabilities. Students are accompanied on their journey toward independence by certified special education teachers and assistants, experienced therapists, caring volunteers and their peers.

Academic learning is integrated with life skills, which is reinforced through community and vocational experiences. Weekly art, music and gym classes allow for fuller expressions and socialization.

Placement at Saint Catherine Academy may occur in partnership with a local school district through the Planning and Placement Team process or independently by parents. Parents are encouraged to schedule a visit to discuss placement opportunities.
